Essential Functions Pay Range: $23.50 to $31.75 per hour. (Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am). To provide mechanical and machine maintenance and fabrication support to the Livingston Plant. Fabricate and repair equipment from blueprints and sketches (e.g. tables, conveyers, etc.). Operate lathe and milling machine. Weld using an arc, a heli-arc and gas. General cleaning and/or assisting other areas as needed and to maintain safety, housekeeping and follow proper sanitary procedures. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must have a minimum of five (5) years of building and facilities maintenance experience Must have good written and verbal English communications skills Must be able to interact positively with Plant Production and Maintenance personnel to resolve maintenance issues Must be able and willing to work rotating Tuesday - Saturday work weeks Must be able to work with minimal supervision Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must be trained in lock-out tag-out and safe work practices Must be able to bend, stoop walk and stand for prolonged periods of time Must be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely Must be able to work from high altitudes, catwalks and roofs Must be able to lift over 50 pounds Must be able to work on wet concrete floors Must be able to work overtime, weekends and times dictated by production equipment requirements/needs Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check Foster Farms ACTION Guiding Principles Accountability: Deliver on commitments.
