Merchandising Manager (Entry-Level Professional)

The Merchandising Manager will plan, develop, and design merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and 84 Lumber's goal. The incumbent will work closely with buyers and other merchandisers to perform the team's goals.

Essential Functions

• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
• Physically implement layout plans for stores
• Build constructive relationships and teams with channel partners
• Remain up-to-date with industry's best practices
• Meet with suppliers and store associates
• Maintain budgets
• Prepare informative presentations for senior managers
• Occasionally support the operations at the Sign Shop, Logo Shop, and 84 Fitness

Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not require supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment
The incumbent is located in a busy office area and is faced with constant interruptions on a regular basis.

Physical Demands
This position requires frequent sitting, use of hands, talking and listening. Periodically this position walks, stands and reaches. Rarely, this position climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work depends on store hours of operations, 45+ hours per week.

Travel
Limited travel is expected for this position.

Preferred Education and Experience
BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
