Hansen sales and distribution of Chr. Hansen products to Identified accounts and distributors. JOB RESPONSIBILITY a. Primary Responsibility - SALES 1. Responsible for Sales of ingredients to major customers and taking into account the Chr. Hansen price structure and the actual market sales prices. Manage pricing, and margin according to regional targets and priorities 2. Mapping of accounts and market, thereby developing and executing 3-year strategy plan for key accounts. 3. Responsible for delivering agreed annual sales budget for Accounts and distributors in the region. 4. Provide reports on Account Sales, development projects and forecasts on monthly basis. Manage distributor sales reports and inventory on monthly basis. 5. Ensure technical support and product training for customers by effectively coordinating with local labs 6. Conduct market and competitor surveys as required. 7. Follow up on overdue customer accounts. 8. Responsible for coordinating participation in any relevant fairs and exhibitions to ensure optimal visibility of CH as an quality ingredient supplier. 9. Liaise where appropriate with Business development. 10. Understand and use the Chr. Hansen sales tools including SAP, BI database. Build and tracks project progression in Salesforce. 11. Ensure support to sales team for innovation /inspiration days by effective coordination with Marketing team. Collaborate effectively with Technical, Marketing and other functions within the organization. 12. Develops and maintains key external business relationships needed to implement growth strategy and business development activities 13. Thorough understanding of customer needs, both stated and unarticulated. b. Business Management 1. Demonstrate good relationship with customers and important consultants in the region is must. 2. Excellent business and financial acumen 3. Strong communication, writing, presentation, and follow up skills 4. A successful track record in building and managing clients 5. Ability to work cross-functionally, influencing others to achieve results 6. Ability to travel up to 50% of time 7. Accomplish all assigned duties safely Educational Qualifications Required Dairy Technologist Bachelor or Master in Dairy Technology/ Dairy Science / Food Science from a reputed Institute or University or College of Dairy Technology with relevant Experience.
