Job Description

Elwyn seeks a Vice President of Marketing & Growth to lead a wide variety of tasks that support the overall growth and success of Elwyn through business development, organic growth and marketing and communications. The VP leads admissions, organic and foothold growth, outreach and overall management of the Elwyn Brand and impact as well as payor contracting and credentialing. This vital role contributes heavily to bottom-line growth and revenue management through expansion, census management, the development of payor relationships and strategies and expert use of marketing and communications tools to build and expand Elwyn's Brand in order to grow in accordance with the operating and strategic plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the Business Development, Admissions, Contracting and MarComm teams to achieve or exceed their annual goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with payers, referral sources, healthcare providers, and community partners to increase referrals, admissions and market reach.
  • Leverage data utilizing the CRM system to manage and analyze referral pipelines, track engagement, and optimize communication strategies.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify opportunities for amendments or renegotiation.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration among business development, marketing, clinical, and operations teams to ensure cohesive growth efforts.
  • Oversee market analysis to identify expansion opportunities, competitive threats, demand analysis and emerging trends in behavioral health/IDD and children's services.
  • Manage and mentor business development teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, track, and report performance metrics/targets (KPI's) related to referrals, outreach, and marketing impact.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings to elevate brand presence and influence.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory developments that may impact the company's strategy and associated BD priorities.
  • Develop brand and marketing strategies that enhance to brand and reputation of Elwyn.
  • Lead organization wide marketing plan that includes conferences, community events and other activities that promote Elwyn to the communities we serve.
  • Develop and track the effectiveness of an overall Marketing and Brand plan for Elwyn that includes metrics, results demonstration and action plans.
  • Oversee the design and execution of a company wide Access to Care and Contact center that enables connections to admissions, program resources and administrative teams.
  • Partner with outside agencies to develop tactics and tools to enhance and manage Elwyn's Brand.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and regulatory changes to inform contracting decisions.
  • Develop Business unit and organization wide tools to be used for presentation and RFP responses
  • Provide insights and recommendations to executive management based on market intelligence.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and meetings with potential partners.
  • Skillfully demonstrate the Elwyn values at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business or Health Care Analytics. MBA preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years in business development within behavioral health or healthcare sectors, with demonstrated success in establishing payer relationships and increasing referrals.
  • At least 5 years of senior leadership experience managing teams and healthcare provider network negotiations.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational growth.
  • Experience managing contract compliance and understanding regulatory requirements in healthcare.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Board presentations a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Able to plan work and develop strategies without all the answers up front.
  • Advanced Microsoft office suite skills including Word, MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of current marketing and brand management strategies and tools.
  • Expertise in gathering and reporting on market analytics to drive decision making.
  • Current, valid driver's license in the state of residence
  • Two (2) years of driving experience in the United States with an acceptable driving record
