      Who you are...

      As Associate Branch Manager, you are a critical member of the branch leadership team, working in close partnership with the Branch Manager to drive overall performance. This role supports the growth and profitability of the branch by managing budgets, controlling expenses, prioritizing safety, fostering employee engagement, and strengthening customer relationships.

      In collaboration with branch leaders, the Associate Branch Manager helps develop and execute business strategies that align the team around shared goals and priorities. The role provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring key performance objectives are consistently met or exceeded. The Associate Branch Manager also serves as a flexible leadership resource, providing additional capacity to the Branch Manager and stepping in to support or cover leadership responsibilities as needed. This includes leading special projects and addressing emerging business needs to ensure the continued success of the branch.

      Some examples of the work you might do includes:

      Leadership & Strategy Implementation



      • In partnership with the Branch Manager, helps execute the local strategy by aligning priorities, people, and resources to achieve or exceed short term goals and long term growth. This includes supporting the development and execution of the annual operating plan and ensuring that strategic objectives are clearly communicated and understood across teams.
      • Maintains a consistent pulse on business performance to highlight progress, address challenges, and reinforce priorities.
      • Through active participation in leadership meetings and quarterly offsites, helps identify opportunities for improvement and ensures appropriate actions are taken to keep the business on track.


      Cross-Functional Collaboration:



      • Builds strong partnerships across functions, including NCS, Sales Enablement, Finance, Safety, Marketing and People & Culture.
      • Works to ensure that branch level execution is aligned with the broader company initiatives, fostering collaboration and shared accountability.
      • By actively participating in cross-functional efforts, helps drive initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen financial outcomes, enhance employee engagement, and elevate the overall customer experience ensuring that the branch remains a key contributor to the Company's overall success.


      Financial Leadership:



      • Plays a key role in planning and driving the branch's financial performance. This includes supporting the development of the annual financial plan and executing strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives, while optimizing resource allocation to meet financial targets.
      • In partnership with the Branch Manager, contributes to the branch pulse package and related reporting, monitors performance trends, identifies risks and opportunities, and helps implement adjustments to stay on track
      • Is accountable for delivering on sales, operating income, and cash flow commitments, while ensuring operations align with the Limbach Way.


      Customer-Centric Leadership:



      • Fosters a culture where understanding and delivering on customer needs is a shared priority across the team.
      • By staying connected to key strategic and non-strategic customers and encouraging proactive engagement, helps ensure that solutions are innovative, responsive, and aligned with customer expectations.
      • Through regular engagement with key customers, including on-site visits and personalized service, fosters relationships that solidify the branch's indispensable vision and support its continued market expansion.


      Sales Strategy Development:



      • Supports the execution of the branch's sales strategy by partnering with the Branch Manager, VP of Sales, and General Manager to help identify and develop opportunities for growth across key accounts, markets, and services. This includes working closely with the team to expand existing relationships and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the branch's strategic priorities.
      • By applying strong business acumen and market awareness, contributes to the development of executive level strategies for "must win" accounts.


        Attractor and Developer of Talent:



        • Plays a critical role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent to support both current operations and future growth. This includes building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline and fostering an environment where employees are engaged, supported, and positioned for success.
        • Drives performance management, identifies and develops emerging talent, and supports effective succession planning across both field and office roles.
        • In close partnership with the Branch Manager, department leaders, and People & Culture, the Associate Branch Manager helps ensure recruiting, development, and retention efforts result in strong teams, consistent account coverage, and sustained business performance.


        Operational Excellence:



        • Plays an active role in driving operational discipline and efficiency across the branch.
        • By ensuring adherence to core processes, the Limbach Way, and Company policies, helps maintain consistency and reduce risk.
        • Working closely with leadership and cross-functional corporate teams, identifies potential challenges early and helps implement solutions that keep operations running smoothly. This includes supporting alignment between sales and operations, addressing customer or project related issues, and reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement.


        Hearts & Minds Leadership:



        • Partnering with the local Field Safety Representative and the Regional Safety Director, helps to foster a culture of safety that prioritizes both regulatory compliance and internal safety standards.
        • In partnership with local leadership, helps ensure a proactive approach to safety, responding to both positive and negative safety incidents and holding employees accountable for implementing corrective actions.
        • Efforts in promoting a "Hearts & Minds" safety culture reduce risk and reinforce the company's commitment to safety excellence.


        Culture Stewardship:



        • Partnering with the Branch Manager to champion local culture, is dedicated to building and nurturing a dynamic, values driven environment characterized by collaboration, trust, and innovation.
        • As a steward of the company's mission, vision, and values, ensures that these principles are embedded in the daily operations of their team.
        • Partners with People & Culture to implement programs designed to elevate employee engagement, professional development, job satisfaction, and long-term retention, creating a high-performing workforce that thrives on continuous improvement and shared success.


        What You Need...



        • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
        • 8+ years of industry-specific experience.
        • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems, in terms of design, installation, and commissioning.
        • Experience leading direct report and cross-functional teams.
        • Demonstrated ability to engage in effective collaboration and communication (both written and verbal).
        • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite
        • Capacity to leverage interpersonal skills to develop and enhance business relationships.
        • Strong financial expertise in the areas of planning, gross profit redemption, overhead control, and ROI.
        • Must have a valid driver's license.
        • Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.
        • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

          Work Environment:



          • This position is required to execute job functions and responsibilities in both an office setting and jobsite setting.
          • In an office environment, this position routinely utilizes standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets.
          • When traveling to a local job site, intermittent exposure to the conditions typically associated with a construction site may be experienced.


          Physical Demands:



          • In performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk, hear, perform repetitive motion, and possess an appropriate degree of both visual acuity and manual dexterity.
