Salary/Hourly Rate:25.24

This position supports the Facility Maintenance Supervisor to complete work related to facility maintenance at the Federal Aviation Administration ToC facility. This work includes but is not limited to minor electrical, plumbing, tile instillation/removal, carpet instillation/removal, drywall patching, painting, furniture assembly, furniture moving, doors, security systems, fire systems, HVAC, etc. etc. This position should expect a 9:30am-6:00pm work day.

Primary Duties

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

  • Receiving instruction from the Facility Maintenance Supervisor, perform plumbing work, electrical work, change HVAC air filters, secure door repair, painting and drywall maintenance, and repair broken furniture, doors, windows, railings, and other fixtures within the facility.
  • Work hand in hand with Facility Maintenance Supervisor to ensure FMS coverage from 6am-6pm ,Monday-Friday.

Additional Duties

  • Assist Facility Maintenance Supervisor with data tracking on all repairs, services, and routine preventative maintenance needs.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED) required.
  • Two years work experience in facility maintenance experience preferred..
  • One year in electrical experience preferred.
  • One year of plumbing experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
