Location: Dallas, TX 75261
Duration: 6 months assignment with possible extension
Shift Schedule: First Shift (8:30 AM- 4:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $52/hr. on W2 without Benefits

Job Description:
  • Assures environmental, health and safety (EHS) requirements are met. Interfaces with regulatory agencies, coordinates site inspections, prepares and submits permit applications and other required documents.
  • Develops and conducts training.
  • Conducts periodic assessments of workplace programs and practices to assure effectiveness.
  • Assesses risks, develops and implements risk mitigations for new and ongoing business activities.
  • Evaluates new regulations for impact on company business activities.
Job Description:
  • Prepares compliance and technical reports to meet Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements.
  • Acts as primary site interface with regulatory agencies.
  • Prepares and submits permit applications.
  • Performs program reviews, investigates incidents and provides corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of incidents.
  • Evaluates workplace hazards.
  • Provides input to new business opportunities and facilities projects to ensure compliance.
  • Conducts education and training to support regulatory and business requirements.
  • Evaluates impact of new regulations on company operations.
  • Reviews vendor, contractor and supplier activities for EHS compliance for site processes and program goals.
  • Must be comfortable engaging team members and help solve problems.
  • Presenting ideas and solutions to stakeholders and leading safety teams.
Must Haves:
  • Candidate should have experience in the following: Powered Industrial Trucks, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Lockout Tagout, Personal Protective Equipment Assessments, Ergonomic Evaluations, Cranes and Hoist, and machine guarding.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in EHS (environmental, health and safety) related field
