Role Summary: Reporting to the Switchgear Manager, the Switchgear Project Assistant is responsible for assisting the Switchgear department by executing administrative and project-related tasks across all phases of project lifecycle.

Exciting work you will do:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Switchgear Project Assistant will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Enter and coordinate customer bid requests
  • Assist in preparing competitive quotations for small to mid-sized projects; submit RFQs to appropriate vendors
  • Prepare electronic job folders in business systems
  • Order entry
  • Generate RGAs
  • Expedite and track shipments
  • Prepare billing reconciliations; assist in resolving disputes
  • Communicate effectively with customers and vendors
  • Assist with carrier claims
  • Follow up with vendors on case requests
  • Follow through on all outstanding items with customers and vendors
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll need:
  • Experience: Entry Level
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, etc)
  • Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills; ability to multi-task; ability to work with limited supervision
  • Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills

Skills we prefer but don't require:

  • Experience: Previous sales support experience; previous project management experience; previous Eclipse experience
