JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The StuckemanSchool in the College of Arts and Architecture is seeking a part-time student communications intern to fill a writing intensivepositionforthe 2026-27 academic yearthat will support the school's Marketing and Communications Office. The role will require12-14hours per week, starting at $14 per hour. Responsibilities include researching and writing feature stories and news releases on school people, programs, alumni, and accomplishments, as well as crafting social media posts to promote those stories. The ideal candidate should have solid writing, reporting, and interviewing skills and a strongattention to detail. Applicants must be dependable, flexible, and organized; possesssolid oral communications skills; and demonstratea strong senseof accountability.This position requires candidates to bethird- or fourth-year journalism or public relations students enrolled in the Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State.Applicants must have at the very least successfully completed the writingcourse COMM 260W. Courses in advanced writingand editing desirable.
