Job Description: Basic Duties & Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Assists with maintaining warehouse conditions to a high standard of safety, organization, and cleanliness inside and outside facility. 2. Checks documentation for completeness and accuracy. 3. Inspects loads to ensure that cargo is secure. 4. Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage. 5. Maintains logs and other documentation, as required. 6. Follows delivery instructions accordingly. 7. Checks condition of trailers and equipment, reporting any issues immediately. 8. Secures cargo for transport, using provided and required equipment. 9. Follows appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods. 10. Performs basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including emergency roadside repairs. 11. Loads and unloads trucks utilizing a forklift or other equipment. 12. Repairs and maintains tools and equipment. 13. Prepares orders for delivery. 14. Drives trucks, and delivers orders to construction sites. 15. Performs basic computer functions. 16. Assists with the maintenance of the vehicle yard. 17. Seasonal position of limited duration, expected to be 2-3 months with the potential to extend up to 6 months.

Two (2) years of applicable experience delivering construction tools, materials, and/or equipment. 2. Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook. OR Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience. Work Environment This job generally requires working at project locations, in vehicles, and in warehouses. This position is often frequently to sounds and loud noises, such as construction equipment. Temperatures and conditions may vary depending on the weather and seasons. This role routinely uses personal protective equipment, standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, iPads, photocopiers, video conferencing and presentation screens.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and able to talk and hear other employee talking. The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
Expected Hours of Work Full time position. Occasional extended hours and weekends may apply.
Travel Travel to project sites to make deliveries is required. The majority of travel is confined to the local area, with occasional travel to other locations outside of the local area. Additional Eligibility Qualifications 1. Valid driver's license. CDL - Class A License preferred. 2. Must have basic Construction materials/tools knowledge. 3. Must be able to meet work schedule and attendance standards. 4. Ability to learn new systems and technologies. 5. Must be able to work at a fast and steady pace to meet production goals. 6. Ability to operate large equipment safely. 7. Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
