Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:



  • Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs.


  • Follow safety protocols and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment.


  • Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and consumables in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and perform cycle counts as required
  • Update work orders from Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as parts are received
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Planner and Maintenance team to fulfill material requirements.
  • Create Purchase Requisitions with all pertinent information
  • Collaborate with Purchasing to ensure packing slip accuracy and physically receive materials to ensure correct items arrive in good condition and free of damage
  • Ability to process RMA's
  • Ensure main parts room and all satellite parts rooms are clean, labeled, identified and organized
  • Generate and revise tags for inventory needs
  • Ensure parts available for scheduled work
  • Duties vary by location



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Skills -

    • Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Communication: The ability to express ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
    • Organizational Skills: The ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Examples include time management, multitasking, and project management.
    • Attention to Detail: The ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies. Examples include quality control, proofreading, and precision in execution.




  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check.


  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable Motor Vehicle History for business travel in company vehicle


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to quickly obtain one as a condition of employment)
  • Maintenance or warehouse background preferred
  • Previous experience in parts coordination, inventory management, or procurement in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Examples include critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis.
  • Creativity: The ability to think outside the box, develop innovative solutions, and create new ideas. Examples include brainstorming, design thinking, and creative problem-solving.
  • Working knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).


PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Production

Ability to sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distance, and climb stairs.



  • Bend at waist - frequent
  • Twist upper body - frequent
  • Stoop - occasional
  • Lift above waist height - frequent depending on machine center
  • Lift over 50 lbs. - frequent depending on machine center
  • Repetitive use of hands - constant
  • Stand/walk - constant
  • Sit - occasional
  • Vision - near and far correctable; depth perception
  • Hearing - preferred for awareness of surrounding machinery, mobile equipment, emergencies


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, airborne particles (sawdust).
