Overview

The Vice President of Enterprise Solutions will drive growth of NV5's Enterprise GIS (eGIS) services across all levels of government and commercial clients in North America as well as help drive that same growth internationally. This is a sales focused position with an emphasis on both direct selling where needed and collaboratively work with Sales Account Executives across all verticals to help them source and pursue large eGIS opportunities in their regions/markets. Duties of this senior level position include developing and executing go-to-market strategies to source new eGIS opportunities across markets, engage directly and indirectly in sales pursuit to pursue and win business, communicate and engage both directly and indirectly with clients and prospects, and manage NV5's strategic partnership with ESRI.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven sales management track record with eGIS and has deep experience with the sales, implementation and support of ESRI technology in enterprise environments. This role is part of the Sales Leadership team and reports to the Senior Vice President of Geospatial Sales.

Responsibilities

    Drive Companywide eGIS Sales: support the pursuit of eGIS sales opportunities across all markets and geographies.
  • Sales Team Influence: Identify key clients and markets where NV5 can expand its eGIS services and Assist Sales Account Executives in developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of eGIS opportunities for business growth, and in executing account prioritization, account resourcing, and account planning, including direct client interactions and meetings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across all sales teams within NV5's Geospatial operating unit as well as Consulting Engineering to align strategies and drive coordinated efforts towards sales and revenue goals.
  • Expand Service & Solution Offerings: Adapt and assess new technology trends to translate them into solutions that address client needs.
  • Manage the Esri Partner Relationship and Nurture Other eGIS Partnerships: Serve as primary point of contact for NV5's partnership with Esri and coordinate activities between Esri and NV5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to expand the company's market reach pertaining to eGIS.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns, solution positioning strategies, and demand generation initiatives to drive eGIS sales and revenue growth and increase market share. Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars, as necessary.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with eGIS industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging eGIS technologies to identify new revenue opportunities and anticipate market shifts.


Qualifications

Competencies & Skills:

  • History of supporting Sales Account Executives who are not under your direct supervision.
  • Ability to drive sales opportunities internally within the organization and externally both direct to clients and indirect with partners.
  • Comfort, desire and drive to incorporate new technologies and capabilities into NV5's offerings to the market.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to write and present to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong ability to assess opportunities including good listening skills, deal qualification skills, and strategic assessment of risk and opportunity.
  • History with contract review, risk determination, and final negotiation skills with clients and partners.
  • Experience selling into various governmental and commercial entities across North America.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and business growth.
  • Knowledge of the sales pipeline, B-A-N-T qualification methodology and CRM systems.
  • Highly motivated team player with a mature, positive attitude and passion to meet the challenges and opportunities of a business.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable bookings and revenue growth plans.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 10+ years of direct eGIS sales experience into various markets.
  • Broad working knowledge of ESRI technology.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, IT/GIS, Geography or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing, pursuing, proposing, and winning contracts and task orders.
  • Demonstrated experience with strong partnerships and advocacy with clients.
  • Experience developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for new products or solutions.
