Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Hybrid - Smithfield, RI

• Bachelor's degree required and at least 7 years of hands-on experience in data and cloud Engineering.
• Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)
• Hand-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning.
• Public Cloud expertise (Azure Data Factory)
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development.
• Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE.
• Familiarity with large complex system design
• Familiarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus.
• Shell scripting experience.
• Linux environment experience.
• Financial services experience preferred.
