Job Type UnclassifiedDepartment Library DistrictAbout the Position The Collection Management division purchases and maintains the Library District's collection, including books, movies, music CDs, audiobooks, and video games. The Collection Management Library Paraprofessional is responsible for a variety of data-centric tasks, such as electronic record maintenance, collection reports and statistics, and material acquisition research and support, as well as material-centric tasks, such as receiving and processing books, printing labels, and managing supplies. While our work is primarily behind the scenes, we occasionally visit branches to assist with collection-related projects and training.
