Are you a visionary designer with a passion for men's knitwear and sweaters? This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on seasonal collections, shaping the aesthetic and direction of highly anticipated lines. You'll be instrumental in translating cutting-edge trends into commercially successful designs, influencing product from concept to execution. As a key contributor to the design team, you will bring your creative vision to life, directly influencing the look and feel of upcoming collections and ensuring they resonate with customers while meeting business objectives.

**Responsibilities:**

* Identify and research new seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, and techniques to inform the design direction for men's knitwear and sweaters.

* Create original design concepts encompassing style, color, and fabric, informed by in-depth trend analysis and brand aesthetic.

* Produce black-and-white sketches and color-up all sketches to presentation-ready standards for leadership and cross-functional partners.

* Manage seasonal fabric orders down to the color level, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

* Partner with Sourcing and Materials Development teams on fabric selection, development, and innovation.

* Actively contribute to cross-functional meetings with Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design teams.

* Create and maintain Tech Paks in partnership with Production and Technical Design teams, clearly communicating design vision, fit intent, and construction details.

* Help ensure execution, quality, and achievement of desired margin targets across the category.

* Provide basic fit and body block information and attend fit sessions as needed.

**Qualifications:**

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

* 3+ years of relevant design experience in men's knitwear, sweaters, or a closely related category.

* Strong sketching skills (hand and/or digital) with the ability to translate concepts from black-and-white to full-color renderings.

* Demonstrated ability to identify and interpret fashion trends and translate them into commercially viable designs.

* Experience creating Tech Paks and partnering with Production and Technical Design on fit, construction, and specifications.

* Knowledge of knit fabrics, yarn types, gauges, and sweater construction techniques.

* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and PLM systems.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Experience in a fast-paced retail or wholesale apparel environment.

* Familiarity with seasonal fabric sourcing workflows and color management processes.

* Strong presentation skills with experience delivering seasonal design proposals to senior leadership.

* Experience with 3D design tools (CLO, Browzwear) is a plus.
