We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our client's team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring seamless patient experiences and efficient clinic operations. In this dynamic position, you will be the welcoming face and voice for patients, directly contributing to their positive healthcare journey from their very first interaction. Your meticulous coordination of appointments and administrative support will empower clinical staff to focus on delivering outstanding care, making a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve.

To be considered for this role, you must:



  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position


What You Will Do:



  • Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Greet and welcome patients, assisting with inquiries regarding appointments, payments, and schedules.
  • Operate a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls, and taking messages for clinical staff and providers.
  • Ensure all necessary patient verifications and authorizations are complete prior to appointments.
  • Communicate effectively with providers regarding scheduling preferences and urgent patient needs.
  • Provide essential doctor-patient support utilizing reference documents and tools.
  • Execute various administrative tasks, such as maintaining information and paging directories, and processing internal forms.
  • Utilize full functionality of the telephone system and electronic medical records systems for daily tasks.
  • Consistently meet or exceed organizational and departmental service standards.
  • Address non-clinical patient inquiries and messages, escalating as appropriate.
  • Manage and distribute faxes, mail, and clinic-specific documentation.


Must-Have Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and software relevant to administrative functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, appropriate for a professional healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service, solve problems efficiently, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based office software, computers, and operating systems.
  • Adept at adjusting communication style to suit the needs and understanding level of diverse individuals.
  • Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35.81 to $38.96 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
