Job Description TEKsystems is partnered with a client seeking an Order Desk Associate to support daily order processing and customer service operations. This individual will work closely with retail customers, contractors, and internal showroom teams to ensure orders are accurately entered, tracked, and fulfilled. The ideal candidate is customerfocused, detailoriented, and comfortable communicating via phone and email. This is a noncommissioned role supporting both sales and administrative functions. Responsibilities * Work directly with retail customers and contractors to place, process, and track orders * Communicate with customers and contractors via phone and email to provide order updates, answer questions, and resolve issues * Enter orders accurately using a computerbased system in a Microsoft Windows environment * Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally * Support showroom consultants with order paperwork and administrative tasks * Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, invoicing, and labeling * Assist customers with product selection and order details as needed * Deliver a positive customer experience while maintaining accuracy and efficiency Required Qualifications * Strong customer service and communication skills * Comfortable handling highvolume phone and email communication * Basic computer skills with data entry experience * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to multitask in a fastpaced, customerfacing environment Preferred Qualifications * 1-3 years of order desk, receptionist, or frontoffice experience * Retail experience in building supplies, stone, tile, or related industries (preferred, not required) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sun Valley, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
