Summary of Position

The Senior Director of Engineering for the Member Onboarding & Access team leads the strategy, vision, and execution of Teladoc's nextgeneration registration and eligibility ecosystem. This leader owns the first impression members have with Teladoc-overseeing how they register, authenticate, and gain access to care in a secure, seamless, scalable way. This role will guide multiple engineering teams, partner deeply with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and crossfunctional stakeholders, and drive innovation that supports Teladoc's growth funnel and conversion outcomes. This position requires a technically savvy engineering leader who can operate at both strategic and architectural levels while driving operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead 2-3 engineering teams within the Registration domain, overseeing Registration and Enrollment areas to deliver scalable, secure, and seamless member onboarding experiences

  • Own the technical vision for the next 5-10 years of Teladoc's onboarding and registration experience, incorporating the latest industry and technology trends.

  • Drive highquality user experiences across registration and onboarding-ensuring performance, UI/UX excellence, compliance, and reliability.

  • Develop highly scalable, robust platforms that support Teladoc's ecosystem.

  • Partner closely with Product, Analytics, Data Science, Strategy, and Client teams to optimize acquisition funnels, conversion, and overall member journey.

  • Provide direct leadership to Senior Managers and indirect leadership to Scrum Masters, QA, Design, and engineering teams across onshore and offshore models.

  • Maintain tight project management oversight-realtime visibility, risk mitigation, crossdomain alignment, and timely delivery.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with peers across engineering and business domains to ensure seamless partnership and execution.

  • Mentor and develop technical leaders; establish engineering best practices and a strong operational foundation.

  • Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.

  • 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing engineering organizations

  • Demonstrated success leading organizations of 30+ engineers.

  • Proven experience leading complex technical domains such as identity, registration, authentication, or eligibility systems.

  • Strong architectural acumen with ability to translate product requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

  • Exceptional communication skills with fluency in conveying technical concepts to crossfunctional partners.

  • Demonstrated project management rigor, including realtime updates, dependency coordination, and proactive risk management.

  • Track record of building strong partnerships across domains and influencing outcomes through collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, enrollment, eligibility, or payer/health plan ecosystems

  • Background in highly regulated environments such as healthcare, banking, or enterprisescale identity systems.

  • Experience in D2C product environments.

  • Prior work with highthroughput, dataintensive systems or Elastic Search driven architectures.

The base salary range for this position is$200,000- $220,000.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU's, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here:Teladoc Health Benefits 2026Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-timepositions. Thisinformation is applicable for all full-time positions.

We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.
