Data Warehouse Architect - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Warehouse Architect for an onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role focuses on the design, development, and optimization of highly complex and specialized data warehouses within a financial regulatory reporting environment. The ideal candidate will analyze business intelligence data and provide recommendations for data warehouse growth and integration, ensuring the architecture is flexible, scalable, and aligned with business application needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize highly complex, specialized data warehouses with flexible and scalable data and ETL architecture
• Analyze business intelligence data and make recommendations for data warehouse growth and integration for the enterprise
• Work with IT and business customers to develop requirements for designing the overall data warehouse architecture
• Provide support and technical guidance to ensure architecture and framework are aligned with BI application needs
• Lead and consult on the implementation and integration of data warehouses

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in a senior developer or architect role
• Hands-on experience architecting J2EE and Core Java based applications
• Expert in designing and developing J2EE based web-applications (JSP, Servlets, JSF, XSLT, XML)
• Expert in designing and developing REST services including authorization and metering
• Expert in designing and developing Java backends for web-applications (Spring Boot, Spock, Groovy, Mockito, TestNG)
• Prior experience in JavaScript/UI Frameworks (preferably React, Ag-Grid, Axios, Material UI)
• Experience with Build and Integration Tools (Gradle, Jenkins Pipeline, Docker, GitHub)
• Deployment experience to OpenShift Platform (Kubernetes) and exposure to Helm Charts
• Prior experience in Relational databases (Oracle, Teradata)

Desired skills:

• Experience developing Single Page Web Apps (SPA)
• Experience with NOSQL databases (Cassandra, Mongo)
• Experience developing Python backends (FastApi, Flask)
• Design and development of high-performance, web-scale systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure design, management, and automation
• Experience in banking or financial regulatory reporting

Pay range: $59.79 - $67.79 per hour
