Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your Verification & Validation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of Computer Based Train Control (CBTC) projects by verifying and validating critical systems and designs. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Test & Commissioning, Design Teams, and Safety Assurance), contribute to the definition and implementation of the Project V&V strategy, and manage configuration and change management cycles related to V&V activities, and much more."

We'll look to you for:

  Contributing to the definition and proactive implementation of the Project Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan.,

  
  
• 
  

  Defining verification methodology for selected deliverables, as required by the V&V strategy.,

  
  
• 
  

  Developing and executing test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities, while liaising with PrCOM for exported tests.,

  
  
• 
  

  Performing and reporting on allocated verification, integration, and test activities.,

  
  
• 
  

  Collaborating with the Safety Assurance Manager to share and justify results when Safety is involved, supporting safety demonstration efforts.,

  
  
• 
  

  Interfacing with experts in other departments to align on selected V&V activity methodologies.,

  
  
• 
  

  Representing Alstom in front of customers or partners to provide overviews of test progress, issues, risks, and opportunities.,

  
  
• 
  

  Specifying, procuring, developing, setting up, and configuring assets such as test benches and instrumentation.,

  
  
• 
  

  Providing data to maintain applicable KPIs and contributing valuable feedback for REX sessions and continuous improvement.,

  
  
• 
  

  Managing configuration and change management cycles related to V&V activities, including simulation configuration and anomaly tracking.
