As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. In this role, you will support daily operations with strong communication and customer service while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and/or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by documenting incidents, observations, and/or patrol activities, and by helping to deter disruptions, theft-related activity, and/or trespassing.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
