As a Mortgage Loan Boarding Specialist, you'll play a key role in bringing those loans to life behind the scenes. From boarding loans into our systems to ensuring funds are disbursed accurately, your work ensures a seamless transition from closing to servicing.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll ensure loans are accurately set up, funded, and ready for servicing-setting the foundation for a positive member experience.

  • Board and set up newly closed mortgage loans into the servicing system with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Track loan pipelines and monitor receipt of closing documentation from settlement agents

  • Review loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with closing documentation

  • Identify and resolve missing or incorrect documentation by partnering with closing agents and internal teams

  • Process loan disbursements, including posting transactions and distributing funds to appropriate parties

  • Maintain tracking tools and reports to ensure all loans are accounted for and processed timely

  • Post interest, escrow balances, and ensure all financial transactions are completed correctly

  • Establish and track insurance (PMI, homeowner's, flood) and tax-related requirements

  • Ensure loans are properly booked and meet all internal standards and regulatory requirements

What You Bring

  • 1+ year of mortgage servicing, loan operations, or banking experience

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to interpret and verify financial and legal loan documentation

  • Effective communication skills when working across teams and with external partners

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with systems such as Encompass, DNA, or servicing platforms is a plus

  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Starting Compensation:$20.00 - $22.69/hr., plus a competitive benefits package
