Manufacturing Outbound Quality Warranty Lead

The North America Manufacturing Quality Warranty Lead is responsible for shaping, governing, and driving long-term strategy for warranty management across all North America manufacturing plants. This role ensures that warranty issues are escalated, analyzed, contained, and resolved with rigor through strong leadership of the Customer Obeya and Warranty Table processes. The lead owns the regional warranty governance model, develops standardized systems and processes to enable the right escalation processes, and ensures cross-plant alignment and accountable. the lead reports directly to the NA Corporate Product Quality Manager and cross-functionally works with the QPMs and QPEMs in all NA MFG plants.

This position also provides strategic oversight of capital funding requests for Manufacturing Quality and Innovation projects, ensuring that investments are prioritized based on risk, business impact, and alignment with corporate quality objectives. The Lead also plays a critical role in ensuring systemic prevention by governing the ReadAcross process for MFG lessons learned from recalls, major incidents, and corporate investigations.

The individual influences plant leadership, cross-functional partners, and executive stakeholders to improve plant capability, drive systemic behaviors, and reduce customer-impacting quality issues. The role requires strong analytical leadership, cross-plant influence, deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to drive change through structured systems

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related degree
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing quality, warranty governance, issue escalation, or quality systems leadership
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-plant problem-solving activities with limited direction
  • Experience guiding capital projects from justification through execution and benefit validation
  • Strong organizational maturity, communication excellence, and leadership presence
  • Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
  • Ability to influence senior leaders, manage ambiguity, and drive systemic improvements across multiple sites
  • Previous experience in Plant Environment
  • Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to coach and teach others
  • Ability to thrive in a high intensity environment while working on multiple projects
