SIS Powertrain Lead

The Stellantis Industrial Systems Powertrain Lead will work closely with the Powertrain Shop Director to develop and implement SIS Standards, coordinate priority of SIS in daily activities of the plants and monitor all Divisional KPI progress regularly. Responsible for coordinating and performing internal reviews, external audits, and internal audits. Support the Division in the creation and implementation of best practices. Work closely with the Powertrain Plants to develop implementation plans and provide coaching towards meeting objectives.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology and implementation or continuous improvement systems
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Ability to travel within North America to support NA Region: US/CAN/MEX
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required
  • Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to coach / mentor / develop team members
  • Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead team
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Applications


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in a union environment
  • Production/Quality/Industrial Engineering supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
