ICT Powertrain MES Specialist

The ICT Manufacturing Powertrain MES Specialist is responsible for the operational management of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) deployed across Stellantis North American Powertrain plants. This includes incident management, delivery of new system functionality, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and policies. The role works closely with ICT launch & plant teams, internal business stakeholders, and external suppliers responsible for MES development and support. The MES Specialist gathers and translates business requirements into clearly defined scopes of work to support supplier quotations, manages the associated work orders and purchasing processes, and oversees supplier execution. This position is accountable for value creation, tracking project progress, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget, and providing regular status updates to business partners

Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage build activities including application demands and enhancements, new program launch deployment, operating system upgrades and dependent application upgrades.
  • Ensure the development of project plans, manage resources, track progress, and successfully deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage the process of incidents and problems including supplier engagement, communication with business partners and root cause analysis to ensure quick resolution and long-term countermeasures.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, adherence to service level agreements, and timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure supplier is compliant with application Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Collaborate with ICT and business stakeholders to understand their application requirements, align services with business objectives and prioritize accordingly.
  • Learn and implement new technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to improve the value the systems provide to manufacturing.
  • Ensure application compliance with cybersecurity standards and policies.
  • Oversees change management process for Powertrain manufacturing applications including communication to business partners, scheduling and validation.
  • Facilitate regular communication with ICT Plant Operations, ICT Launch and external suppliers.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Manufacturing or related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently while respecting budget and timing.
  • Experience in Automative Manufacturing is preferred though not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
