We're seeking a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to help develop advanced robotic systems, robotic path planning, and computer vision solutions in a fast-paced engineering environment. In this role, you'll collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to design, test, integrate, and troubleshoot custom robotic systems and end effectors for 6-axis robotic platforms.

What You'll Do:
  • Program robotic paths and behaviors for 6-axis robotic arms
  • Integrate robotic systems using ROS/ROS2 frameworks
  • Design, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems, sensors, actuators, and end effectors
  • Develop learning pipelines and computer vision applications for robotic systems
  • Conduct pilot studies, DOE evaluations, and performance benchmarking while generating technical reports and recommendations
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field
  • 3-10 years of experience in robotics manipulation and computer vision
  • 3+ years of experience with C++ and Python programming in Linux environments
  • 3+ years of experience in robotic system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2, robotic path planning, sensor integration, and version control systems such as Git
  • Understanding of Design of Experiment (DOE) methodologies and statistical process control concepts
  • Experience with Behavior Trees and MoveIt
  • Experience designing robotic hardware and end effectors
  • Experience using Siemens NX, Creo, or SolidWorks
  • Familiarity with OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience with JavaScript, React, web APIs, or SDKs
  • Embedded Linux kernel development experience
  • Additional project management experience
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning, or reinforcement learning applications in robotics
