The Job at a Glance
As the Operational Excellence Lead (Process & Performance), you will support the execution, documentation, and performance management of operational excellence initiatives across our fulfillment network. This role plays a key part in ensuring processes are clearly defined, consistently followed, and continuously improved.

You'll partner with Operations, IT, and site teams to support new site launches, WMS transitions, and ongoing performance improvement efforts, helping create structure, discipline, and sustainability across operations.

A Typical Day

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and standard work documentation
  • Manage version control and ensure documentation accuracy and accessibility
  • Partner with site teams to ensure consistent process adoption and flag deviations
  • Analyze productivity, quality, and cycle time data to identify gaps and trends
  • Build dashboards and reports to track KPIs and operational performance
  • Support process design and documentation for new fulfillment center launches
  • Assist with WMS implementations including UAT, test cases, and defect tracking
  • Ensure SOPs align with system capabilities during WMS transitions
  • Support training and rollout of processes at new and existing sites
  • Participate in Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and improvement tracking
  • Implement standard work, visual management, and performance tools
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups across initiatives

To Land This Opportunity

  • You have 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, or operations roles
  • You have hands-on experience with process documentation and workflow mapping
  • You have exposure to warehouse operations and Warehouse Management Systems
  • You have a detail-oriented mindset with strong execution and follow-through
  • You can effectively collaborate with cross-functional and site-level teams
  • You have a data-driven mindset with the ability to identify and drive performance improvements
  • You have strong analytical skills (and knowledge of Excel, BI tools, or data visualization platforms)
  • You have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools is strongly preferred).
  • You're an all-star communicator and are proficient in English (both written and verbal).
  • You have the ability to travel (40% annually, but as high as 50% during project implementation).
  • You have a quality, high speed internet connection at home.

The salary range for this role is $71,048 - $86,837 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
