DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Application Specialist, it will be essential to plan, organize, and schedule your day with the goal of processing and completing Public Housing applications, ensuring compliance with all policies and requirements. Your work includes conducting interviews with applicants, reviewing background information, and maintaining various informational program logs. This position assists the Tenant Selection Supervisor with, but not limited to, running background reports, application correspondence, application files, and application communications. You can expect to make eligibility determinations, notify applicants of decisions, and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner. Our team will rely on you to assist with receptionist duties to include answering phone calls and greeting applicants. Apply today and join our dedicated and supportive team! - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One (1) year of experience in performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family housing developments, or properties owned or administered by public housing agencies; or
- One (1) year of comparable business, industrial, or professional employment; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
