DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position fulfills the role of trusted advisor and liaison between the Conservation and Environment Delivery Center (CEDC), supported agencies, and enterprise architecture stakeholders. The position provides functional leadership for enterprise architecture to ensure alignment between business capabilities, enterprise standards, and agency technology portfolios.

The role focuses on architecture governance, standards planning, portfolio alignment, and long-term modernization direction. This position ensures architectural consistency, supports enterprise decision-making, and enables efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective technology solutions across the delivery center.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days telework/three days per week in office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Ten years of professional information technology experience; or
  • Six years of professional information technology experience and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must have experience in application development.
  • You must have experience in API design.
  • You must have experience in enterprise software frameworks.
  • You must have experience developing and executing technology road-maps that align technical domains with long-term business goals.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
