DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position oversees the daily operations of the institutional warehouse and directs the work of staff who manage inventory and supplies. It supports the accurate and efficient handling of products throughout the facility. As a Corrections Warehouse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Inventory Control: Maintain correct inventory levels, track stock usage, and adjust order points
- Purchasing Support: Prepare purchase requests, review requisitions, and schedule incoming deliveries
- Staff Supervision: Provide direction, training, and oversight for warehouse employees and inmate workers
- Safety Measures: Conduct inspections and checks to prevent security risks and ensure safe warehouse conditions
- Operational Oversight: Monitor warehouse layout, temperature conditions, and updates to operational procedures

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience as a Corrections Stock Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in receiving, storing, or distributing an inventory of goods.
Special Requirements:
- You must be in possession of an active motor vehicle license.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
