Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware professional

Job Description

Think is seeking a Senior Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware professional to support a Utilities company. This role will focus on Oracle WebLogic Server upgrades, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Virtual Directory, middleware support, and ongoing maintenance for legacy Oracle applications based on WebLogic.

Responsibilities

• Support upgrades of Oracle WebLogic Server from 11g to 12c to 14c
• Support Oracle Internet Directory, OID, and Oracle Virtual Directory, OVD, environments
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrade activities for Oracle middleware environments
• Execute end to end OID and OVD upgrades using Oracle Upgrade Assistant to 14c
• Support LDAP integration, schema migration, SSL security, and replication
• Perform pre upgrade and post upgrade validations
• Troubleshoot issues related to WebLogic, OID, OVD, LDAP, SSL, replication, and middleware environments
• Optimize performance across Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware environments
• Provide post upgrade production support in Linux or Unix environments
• Support ongoing future maintenance for Oracle legacy applications based on WebLogic
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to upgrade activities, configurations, validations, and support processes
• Collaborate with technical teams, application teams, and stakeholders throughout upgrade and support activities

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands on expertise upgrading Oracle WebLogic Server 11g to 12c to 14c
• Experience with Oracle Internet Directory, OID
• Experience with Oracle Virtual Directory, OVD
• Experience with installation, configuration, patching, and execution of end to end OID and OVD upgrades using Oracle Upgrade Assistant to 14c
• Knowledge of LDAP integration, schema migration, SSL security, and replication
• Experience performing pre upgrade and post upgrade validations
• Experience troubleshooting middleware, directory services, and upgrade related issues
• Experience providing post upgrade production support
• Experience working in Linux or Unix environments
• Strong scripting, documentation, and cross team collaboration skills
