Employee Labor Relations Specialist II

Location: Washington, DC (Onsite)

Clearance: Ability to pass federal background investigation

About the Role

A senior Employee Labor Relations Specialist is needed to support a federal agency with complex conduct, performance, and labor relations matters. This is a hands-on role working directly with managers on sensitive issues.

Responsibilities:




  • Advise supervisors and managers on performance, conduct, and disciplinary matters.



  • Support investigations, fact-finding, and case documentation for grievances, appeals, and adverse actions.



  • Assist with labor-management relations, including negotiations and contract interpretation where applicable.



  • Draft proposals, decision letters, settlement agreements, and other case documents.



  • Provide training and guidance to management on ELR topics.



  • Qualifications




Required Experience:




  • 5+ years of federal employee and labor relations experience.



  • Strong knowledge of federal ELR laws, regulations, and case precedents.



  • Demonstrated experience handling complex and sensitive casework.



  • Excellent written communication and advisory skills.



  • Work Authorization




U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a federal background check.

Salary - $150,000 - $170,000
