Purpose of the Job Under minimal supervision of the Supervisor, Facilities, the General Services Representative is responsible for mailroom operations, shipping/receiving, courier services, dock operations, gym, fleet vehicles, waste management, document shredding, custodial, food vendor and event setup as well as property management initiatives. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Performs daily inspections of facilities at corporate headquarters for overall cleanliness as well as preventative maintenance, creating work orders and completing maintenance and repair requests as needed. Utilizes facilities software programs to ensure that all service requests are completed in a timely fashion and provides regular work order status reports to impacted stakeholders Cleans all areas of the main facility daily; removes garbage and debris as required. Coordinates the shredding, recycling, and waste management programs for scheduled vendor pick-up. Maintains a clean and presentable facility for inspection at all times, to include sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed, building-wide. Delivers and/or stocks paper goods, supplies, and coffee stations as needed or requested. Performs setup and supplies coffee, drinks, snacks, food, and any other needed items for Board Meetings, parties, functions, and/or events held on-site and within the corporate main facility. Performs company vehicle inspections, including checking for scratches, dents, gas, car washes, tires, DMV inspections, batteries, etc., creating work orders, and completing maintenance and repair requests as needed. Makes daily trips to the post office for all inbound and outbound US mail; delivers mail to local Branches as needed. Opens, sorts, and delivers all inbound US mail daily. Picks up outbound US mail and posts it, charging postage to the appropriate departments each day. Receives shipments on the loading dock, inspects them, and delivers them to the appropriate department. Prepares outgoing FedEx packages for shipment to outlying branches daily; tracks incoming FedEx packages using in-house computer software. Maintains and services Facilities Service equipment, including Mail Mobiles, Meter Machines, FedEx Machines, etc. Completes name plates for all Credit Union employees (new, changes, etc). Trains teammates on Facilities Management equipment and software programs to ensure knowledge for day-to-day operations. Performs month-end reporting, including postage, FedEx, work orders, mail metering, and inspection logs, etc. Assists with overseeing gym policies, procedures, and maintenance at corporate headquarters. Assists Facilities Management areas as needed on a day-to-day basis, including: Moving or rearranging workstation or office furniture. Picking up furniture items from the warehouse. Moving equipment such as data processing machinery or ATM's. Cleaning up building grounds. Placing service calls to vendors and supervising work.

Must have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Must have strong interpersonal skills Must have the ability to define problems and develop solutions Must have the ability to read, interpret, and understand basic common manuals, e-mails, and general communications Must be able to work effectively with co-workers and with suppliers, vendors, and contractors for all assignments and work orders Must be flexible and able to shift resources and priorities as required Must work required hours and be available during non-work hours as needed, and responds to emergency calls in a timely manner Must have the ability to understand all business processes within the credit union Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills Must be able to work in a general office environment Must have a valid driver's license Mush have the ability to work at multiple locations from time to time Must be able to maintain confidentiality Must be flexible and able to shift resources and priorities as required Must be able to complete all assignments with minimal supervision Should possess a strong commitment to providing excellent service to Truliant's members
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping required Occasional crouching and crawling required Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer Must be able to moderately lift or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 60 pounds
Education and Background
Associate's degree or equivalent experience required Minimum of two (2) years' experience in building operations or facilities management, third-party service provider, or as a consultant required
