Senior Operations Manager - Scarborough

As a Senior Operations Manager within Water Operations, you will lead three teams including Water Manufacturing, Water Buyer/Planning, and Water Supply Quality Engineering. You'll oversee daytoday operations, develop and engage a highperforming team, and keep work aligned with business priorities. The role also serves as a project lead for strategic initiatives, partnering crossfunctionally to improve performance, manage costs, and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop multiple Water Operations teams, fostering strong engagement and effective situational leadership

• Plan and organize work to ensure staffing, quality, timelines, and customer commitments are met

• Act as Project Manager/Project Lead for strategic, crossfunctional initiatives within Water Operations

• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency opportunities using data and performance metrics

• Partner with Finance and Operations leaders to manage OPEX, budgets, and costsavings initiatives

• Address escalated or complex issues and proactively remove obstacles

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate efforts and resolve issues

• Prepare reports and analyses to communicate performance, risks, and progress to leadership

• Collaborate with and manage priorities of engineering allocations from our corporate engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 5-7+ years of people leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply environments

• Proven experience leading crossfunctional projects and teams

• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost initiatives

• Excellent communication, problemsolving, and organizational skills

• Customerfocused mindset with solid operational and business judgment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant business systems

Work Environment

• Office and operations environment with standard physical demands

• Some travel may be required
