What You'll Do:

This role supports Regional Sales Managers in driving container sales and trading activities across assigned customers in North and Central America. The position will support the sales team in achieving pricing, volume, and inventory goals, while contributing to overall sales performance. It offers strong opportunities for professional growth, with the potential to expand responsibilities within Triton Container Sales ("TCS") over time.

Key Responsibilities will include:


  • Manage assigned customer relationships with the goal of positioning TCS as the preferred supplier with "last look" at each of our customers container purchasing needs.
  • Work closely with the TCS team to devise, agree, and execute plans for each customer on increasing market share and developing business in line with the department's overall price/volume objectives.
  • Provide coverage and support for Regional Sales Managers as and when needed.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Regional Sales Manager and the Customer Service Representatives.
  • Travel within the assigned region as required.
  • Maintain frequent and proactive communication with existing customers, and colleagues as necessary.
  • Support TCS Digital Marketing Campaigns as well as lead follow-up in CRM and customer database maintenance.
  • Collaborate with regional team members to ensure our customer service delivery meets the needs of our customers.
  • Coordinate with the Logistics Manager and Trucking Manager for North America to push out or pull in sale inventory on domestic moves as appropriate.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support business objectives.


What We're Looking For:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related discipline.
  • 0-5 years of experience in customer service or sales-related roles.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively support customers across the region.
  • Knowledge of the container shipping industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products required with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • High energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent decision making and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work well with diverse cultures and ability to liaise with colleagues globally.
  • Ability to build strong customer and vendor relations.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Houston, TX office.
