ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


North Shore Bank's Position Descriptions are intended to describe only the major functions of the job. You may be expected to perform other duties specified by your manager. Everyone is expected to contribute whatever efforts necessary to operate efficiently and effectively to insure the success of the Bank.



POSITION SUMMARY: The Loan Funding Representative is responsible for all administrative functions necessary in order to upload, validate, and buy/book indirect loans and leases. This position requires substantial attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.



Performs daily procedures necessary to upload, validate, buy/book indirect loans and leases. This includes reviewing package for completeness, following up on missing items, disbursing funds for deals, and entry on satisfaction/lien report where applicable. Ensure package completeness through edit/audit verification or holding for pending items.



Verify edit/audit sheets to match loan documents and confirm booking, making corrections if necessary. Pulls notes for scanning (scans and files in protected area) and mortgages for recording.



Maintains pending files, ensuring receipt of satisfactions, releases, title policies, ships mortgages, etc. and actively works to resolve any problems immediately.



Responds to calls from dealers regarding funding, programs, rates, etc.



Ensures timely and accurate updates of dealer rates, utilizing RightFax system. Directly maintains accurate and updated dealer fax numbers within RightFax.



Responsible for file maintenance of promotional rates and expiration dates when offered.



Performs regular systems file maintenance.



Processes out-of-state titling requests and resolves title issues with any state and local agencies.



Administrative duties as assigned including but not limited to daily mail sorting and deliver and paid loan processing.



Provides back up to customer service staff as well as other department staff while they are out of the office or on vacation.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Prior work experience with direct customer contact is required. Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail is required. Knowledge of MS Office, Fiserv, Lease Tek, Appro systems highly desired. Experience with loan and lease accounting/discounting is desirable.



OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to manage and prioritize workload in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines. Requires attention to detail in a time-sensitive manner.
