Base Salary: up to $68,000 + Uncapped Commission + Bonus

Waste Pro USA is looking for a driven, relationship-focused Construction Sales Representative to grow our business in the booming Dade County market.

If you have experience in construction sales, outside sales, roll-off/temporary services, dumpster sales, site services, contractor sales, or account development, this is an opportunity to build a high-income career with one of the fastest-growing privately owned waste companies in the country. This is not an inside sales desk job. We want someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, prospecting job sites, networking with contractors/developers, and winning business.

What You'll Do

As our Construction Sales Rep, you will focus on growing Waste Pro's construction and roll-off business throughout Dade County by building relationships with:



  • General Contractors
  • Developers
  • Roofing Companies
  • Construction Firms
  • Demolition Contractors
  • Municipal/Commercial Accounts


Primary Responsibilities



  • Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, and field prospecting
  • Develop relationships with contractors, builders, and project managers
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through close
  • Conduct site visits and customer meetings to identify service opportunities
  • Prepare pricing proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Partner with operations to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships/accounts
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals



What We're Looking For

Preferred Experience



  • 2+ years of outside sales/business development experience
  • Construction industry sales experience strongly preferred
  • Experience selling services to contractors/builders highly preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas/goals
  • Strong closing and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated hunter mentality with strong follow-up discipline
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 1-2 years of sales/marketing/business development experience within the Waste Services Industry with heavy emphasis on the Commercial Sales Sector.
  • 1+ years of progressive sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply consultative and solutions based selling skills.
  • Applied skills in negotiation, bid responses, contract management, forecasting and reporting.
  • Experience with sales generation, customer interaction, presentation, client interaction, negotiation, account management, forecasting, pricing, and sales closure.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills combined with above average organization, interpersonal, listening, presentation and problem solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to function with the utmost honesty and integrity.
  • Must demonstrate a basic understanding of applied use of sales automation technology used in support of the sales process.
  • Proficiency in using an array of software packages, including Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experienced in developing strategies to increase sales volumes, manage costs and source potential opportunities through different channels.
  • Knowledge of the Waste Industry, competitors, and relevant external forces that influence the client's buying decision.
  • Organized and intellectually able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
  • Must have valid driver licenseand able to travel within a defined sales area.
