The Museum Restoration Shop is seeking a knowledgeable supervisor to assist running a talented pool of restoration technicians restoring Museum vehicles, displays and fleet collision repairs. The Museum Shop Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of restoration technicians and directing the workflow to ensure the safety, productivity and restoration of the WPHF Museum assets, Waste Pro vehicles, and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Shop environment includes, but not limited to, machines, tools, heavy equipment, chemicals, solvents, paint, dust and fumes.
- Ability to examine, determine solutions, plan, prioritize, and perform restoration on vehicles and equipment including but not limited to welding, modifying, disassembly, reassembly, and paint work.
- Supervises and assists team of employees who are responsible for the repair, restoration, and maintenance of Waste Pro Historical Foundation equipment along with Waste Pro machinery and heavy-duty equipment, including but not limited to, Rear Load, Front Load, Roll Off, Grapple, Portable Restrooms, and Containers.
- Prepares and reviews all repair orders to ensure that labor, materials, and parts are properly charged, and work is completed according to established guidelines. Maintains spreadsheet of projects performed in shop.
- Maintains a clean and effective shop environment.
- Recommends hiring actions, coach, counsel and evaluate performance, identify training opportunities, monitor and track employee attendance, complete disciplinary actions/meetings and apply Positive Leadership principles. Trains employees in proper work methods, equipment operation, and enforces safety rules and regulations.
- Identify equipment and parts needs and procures parts, within assigned spending limits, necessary to complete repairs. Refers larger purchases or major repairs to Museum Director as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with the managers, painters, body technicians, welders, mechanics and admin etc

* Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
* Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro .
* Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Working Conditions:
- Shop environment including, but not limited to, machines, tools, heavy equipment, chemicals, solvents, dust and fumes.
- Exposure to chemical and residential waste.
- Inside facility, outside environment exposed to weather and vibrations from trucks and maintenance facility.
- Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions.
Position Qualifications:
- Knowledge of autobody and mechanical restoration of vehicles and equipment.
- Toolbox and tools commonly used for body repairs, part removal, installation & painting.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. certification and two years of vehicle repair, restoration and collision experience.
- Minimum of two years supervisory or progressively responsible experience in a lead role.
Physical Requirements (but not limited to):
- Push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 50 pounds, and occasionally must work at shoulder level with equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Walking, Jogging, Twisting, Crouching, Lifting
- Sufficient stamina for steady work pace throughout the day
- Able to utilize all Personal Protective Equipment as mandated by company.
