As our Risk & Insurance Manager, you'll take the lead on managing a dynamic, organization-wide insurance program that supports more than 2,500 employees across diverse services. This is a high-impact role where you'll partner closely with internal teams, leadership, and external brokers to ensure strong coverage, thoughtful risk strategies, and effective claims management.

This position administers the organization's corporate insurance program, ensuring appropriate coverage is in place and effective risk mitigation across all entities. Responsibilities include managing policy renewals and endorsements, administering and reporting on insurance claims and maintaining insurance data and dashboards. The role serves as a liaison with insurance brokers, internal partners, and service lines to ensure accurate data, timely reporting, and proper allocation of insurance costs. In addition, the position supports data system enhancements, contributes to insurance budgeting and financial reconciliation, and educates employees on insurance coverage and claims processes to promote consistency and sound risk management practices across the organization.

What you'll do:

In this role, you'll lead key activities including:



  • Managing property and casualty insurance policies, renewals, and endorsements
  • Overseeing complex claims and ensuring timely, cost-effective resolution
  • Maintaining insurance data, dashboards, and reporting for leadership
  • Supporting budgeting, allocations, and financial reconciliation
  • Educating employees on insurance coverage and claims processes to promote consistency across the organization



Job requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree and/or 4 years of experience, which can include lived experience that is applicable to the job and performance
  • 5 years of experience in insurance related fields


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey sensitive information in a constructive and solution-focused manner.
  • Solid understanding of insurance structures and industry-specific terminology.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and adapt to program-specific risk management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners and external stakeholders.
