Job Title: Bakery Processing Operator (Divider) Pay Rate: $23.55-$26.45
Area: Production Shift: 3rd Shift
FLSA: Non-exempt hourly

Job Description:
The Processing Operator will have various duties within the mixing, scaling, emtrol and processing areas. He/She will have job responsibilities that include bag dumping into minor ingredient bins, relief and back filling of all rolls processing positions, removal of waste, raisin sorting, cleaning of equipment and other duties as assigned. The Bakery Processing Operator is a multi-functional position that will rotate through several different positions within the classification. He/She will neatly and accurately fill out all necessary paperwork and turn it into the proper place. Responsible for area housekeeping.

The Processing Operator roll sets up, adjusts, operates and monitors the extruder, pan-o-mat, and sheeter rollers. He/she oversees dough placement into the cups, final dough placement into pans, and monitor flour usage. He/She will clean all related equipment between changeovers and will assist in placing troughs in the bowl hoist. The Bakery Processing Operator takes weights of dough balls, performs quality checks in accordance with standard procedures then neatly and accurately fills out all necessary paperwork.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Review pertinent information with the previous shift i.e. mechanical issues etc.
2. Relief or back fill as assigned - Example - Scaler, Platform Helper, Mixer, Divider, Molder Oven Tender and Emtrol, as required
3. Handle in house made ice or pallets of ice, as needed
4. Add pans to line, as needed
5. Supply oven with topping for the line
6. Move ingredient containers to designated area
7. Move lid carts and work in lidding positions as required
8. All position specific responsibilities when relieving or back filling
9. Clean equipment
10. Remove trash and cardboard as necessary
11. Neatly and accurately fill out all necessary documentation (Ex. HACCP - CTS)
12. Maintain a safe neat and clean work area accordance with GMP and Good House Keeping Practices (GHP's)
13. Communicate with co-workers and supervisors
14. Follow all JSA guidelines
15. Must adhere to all GMP and Food Safety Policies and Practices

Work Conditions:
1) 8-12 Hour shift. Will receive 2 fifteen-minute breaks and one half hour break. Overtime is required. Finishing shift is standard schedule.
2) Environment - Noise levels will be minimal to moderate and temperature will be controlled. Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of slippery footing and dust from dry ingredients.

Pay Rate: $23.55 - $26.45
