Position Overview:

The Senior Downstream Product Manager will lead commercialization, market development, and lifecycle management for Artivion's endovascular portfolio. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, accelerating market adoption, and ensuring successful product launch execution and sustained commercial performance.

The individual will act as the bridge between upstream strategy and field execution-translating clinical value propositions into impactful marketing programs, enabling the sales organization, and ensuring strong alignment with customer needs. This role requires deep engagement with physicians, close partnership with cross-functional teams, and the ability to influence both near-term performance and longer-term portfolio strategy.

Responsibilities:

Commercial Strategy & Execution



  1. Develop and execute downstream marketing strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets
  2. Become marketing leader for endovascular portfolio, responsible for market development, marketing and execution through partnership with the NA sales team.
  3. Lead product launches, new indications, and market development initiatives
  4. Partner with Sales Leadership to implement integrated and powerful marketing plans/programs
  5. Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and business performance to inform strategy
  6. Collaborate with regional marketing teams and sales leadership (as needed) to understand, and support regional goals, regional product launch and regional market research.


Customer & Market Engagement



  1. Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (cardiac & vascular surgeons)
  2. Engage customers through field travel, trainings, and industry congresses
  3. Translate voice of customer insights into actionable commercial initiatives
  4. Collaborate with Medical Education, Clinical team, and physician consultants to support and ensure ongoing clinician education goals and outcomes align with business goals.


Product Lifecycle Management



  1. Manage full product lifecycle including positioning, segmentation, and portfolio optimization
  2. Identify growth opportunities, differentiation strategies, and line extensions
  3. Support forecasting and demand planning with Sales, Operations, and Finance


Launch & Sales Enablement



  1. Develop value propositions, messaging, and marketing collateral
  2. Create and deliver training tools for sales teams and physician education
  3. Ensure field readiness and successful adoption of new products


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  1. Partner with Upstream Marketing, R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, etc
  2. Provide market insights to inform pipeline, clinical strategies and business decisions
  3. Support clinical programs, publications, and physician training initiatives


Financial Management



  1. Manage marketing budgets and annual planning process
  2. Track ROI and optimize marketing investments
  3. Present performance updates and strategic plans to leadership


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or related field (MBA welcomed).
  • 8+ years of experience in the medical device industry experience. Endovascular experience highly preferred.
  • Proven success in downstream/product marketing, including product launches and market development.
  • Strong clinical and technical acumen in complex procedural environments knowledge of aortic anatomy preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract and translate customer insights into commercial strategies and execution plans.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across the product lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel ~30%
