TechFlow Inc. seeks to hire a Senior Solutions Architect to join our growing team in the DC Metro Area. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to shape innovative enterprise solutions that drive mission success. In this role, you will lead the development and documentation of technical strategies, analyze complex business challenges, and recommend scalable, cost-effective solutions leveraging enterprise platforms and open-source technologies whenever possible. The Senior Solutions Architect will partner directly with key stakeholders to conduct analyses of alternatives (AOA), develop high-level level of effort (LOE) estimates, and architect modern solutions that align business needs with technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis and implementation of technical solutions supporting a dynamic and adaptable communications infrastructure that enables the convergence of technologies supporting the TSA mission and enterprise IT systems.
  • Lead development teams in designing, enhancing, and maintaining distributed systems that automate the collection, visualization, maintenance, and analysis of operational data.
  • Ensure all design and implementation approaches adhere to the latest security measures, incorporate Section 508 accessibility principles, and meet current and future FedRAMP and NIST security standards.
  • Provide secure and stable methods for the remote diagnosis and resolution of maintenance issues affecting remote data collection points.
  • Develop and document architecture strategies and technology roadmaps to transform current-state environments into improved and efficient future-state solutions across people, processes, and technology.
  • Review and assess system, application, technical, and infrastructure architectures for current and proposed systems to ensure compliance with technical standards, best practices, reliability, maintainability, performance, and security requirements.
  • Evaluate proposed system interfaces and recommend architectural approaches, technologies, applications, and infrastructure solutions to support required integrations.
  • Review and recommend IT alternatives that support TSA mission objectives and operational goals.
  • Document system interfaces and prepare Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs).
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including enterprise system, application, and infrastructure diagrams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct infrastructure and network assessments, coordination, monitoring, traffic analysis, and optimization of technology solutions within the data center environment.
  • Conduct business and technical discovery sessions with customers to identify requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Develop innovative solutions, architectures, and use cases to help customers achieve mission and operational objectives.
  • Present technical proposals and recommendations to senior government officials in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Continuously enhance the team's methodologies, technical knowledge, and library of solution design blueprints for key customer segments and use cases.
  • Design or support the development of interface standards, quality assurance standards, performance standards, and cost-benefit analyses for modern, state-of-the-art information systems.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 13+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IT architecture, infrastructure, and technical solutions in complex environments. (Minimum of 17 years experience without a Bachelor's Degree)
  • Demonstrated experience developing technical strategies, conducting analyses of alternatives (AOA), and creating level of effort (LOE) estimates for large-scale IT initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of federal security and compliance standards, including FedRAMP, NIST, and Section 508 requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and effectively communicate complex solutions to customers, stakeholders, and senior government officials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Software Development and Maintenance experience within TSA Environment
  • Experience and/or exposure to STIP and/or STIX technology concepts and technology stack
