Essential Functions Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour. (Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am). Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 5:00am-1:30pm Perform diagnosis and repair on refrigeration systems and electrical components Ability to use computer and other diagnostic tools Perform diagnosis and repair reefer electrical systems related to circuit boards Perform "D" service on refrigerated trailers Perform all welding, soldering and basic fabrication Don Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Qualifications Must complete required certified training (Thermo King/Carrier) Must possess general trailer repair experience, including refrigeration troubleshooting and repair Must have EPA Certification Must possess necessary tools to perform repairs Must be up to date and knowledgeable on current units Must possess a valid California driver's license and driving record must conform to Foster Farms guidelines Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated Must be able to effectively communicate in English which includes reading and writing legibly Must be safety oriented and adhere to company safety guidelines and lone worker program. Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to continuously be on feet throughout the shift Must be able to bend over and squat Must be able to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed Must be able to perform all functions of preceding tech levels Must be able to progress to a higher tech level preferred Must perform to established time standards for commonly performed repairs and utilization expectations Must adhere to Foster Farms and State Environmental regulations Must be able to use laptop computer as a diagnostic and repair tool Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check Must be willing and able to assist power department as needed Foster Farms ACTION Guiding Principles Accountability: Deliver on commitments.
