Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a talented and collaborative Full Stack Engineer to support the development of internal tools, workflow automation, and operational efficiency initiatives within a fast-paced technology environment. This role focuses on identifying process inefficiencies and building scalable software solutions that streamline engineering and business operations.

A key area of responsibility will include supporting compliance automation systems, including data registry infrastructure and GDPR-related data access and deletion workflows. The ideal candidate is passionate about building practical solutions that improve productivity, reduce manual effort, and enhance system reliability across teams.

This is a 12-month remote contract opportunity. Candidates must reside within 100 miles of Cupertino, CA.

• Design, develop, and maintain internal web and native applications that improve operational efficiency
  
• Identify and automate repetitive manual processes across engineering and business workflows
  
• Build, maintain, and operate automation pipelines supporting data access and deletion requests
  
• Support and enhance internal data registry systems to maintain accurate data cataloging
  
• Develop and maintain front-end interfaces for internal dashboards and operational tooling
  
• Build back-end services and APIs that support automation workflows and system integrations
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, identify pain points, and deliver scalable solutions
  
• Communicate project status, blockers, and technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure long-term sustainability of internal tools
  

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience
  
• Strong proficiency with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
  
• Experience with back-end development using technologies such as Python, Node.js, Go, or Java
  
• Experience building internal tools, administrative interfaces, or workflow automation systems
  
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
  
• Solid understanding of Git and version control best practices
  
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Understanding of security and privacy best practices including secure coding, authentication and authorization patterns, and compliance standards such as GDPR, CCPA, or SOC 2
  

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
  
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration and automation tools such as Airflow
  
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
  
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
  
• Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
  
• Scripting experience for automation tasks
