Security Officer Seasoned Patrol Examiner

As a Security Officer Seasoned Patrol Examiner in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic technology-focused location, staying visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, strong awareness, and responsive assistance, all while reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a corporate technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and following site protocols for entry, deliveries, and/or contractor access.
• Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
