As a Security Officer Roaming Patrol in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, trailer yards, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, gates, docks, and employee and visitor entry areas, verifying credentials and/or permissions in accordance with site policies while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support the orderly flow of people, vehicles, and deliveries by observing site activity, communicating clearly with drivers and staff, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or other property-related issues that could affect operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
