JOB ANNOUNCEMENT CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR Department of Family and Support Services Number of Positions: 1 (additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Starting Salary: $121,688.00 Applications for this position will be accepted until 11:59pm CDT on 05/27/2026 Under direction, manages and directs the development, processing and administration of procurement and contract management functions for the Department of Family and Support Services and performs related duties as required ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Location: 1615 West Chicago Avenue Days: Monday - Friday Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm THIS POSITION IS EXEMPT FROM THE CAREER SERVICE Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree plus five years of work experience in the development and administration of vendor procurement/grant contracts, lifecycle contract management databases, and data visualizations of contract data, OR Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree plus four years of work experience in the development and administration of vendor procurement/grant contracts, lifecycle contract management databases, and data visualizations of contract data. Selection Criteria This position requires applicants to complete an interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral part of the interview will be selected.
