Your Role on Our Team:

The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting the quality of product and material, following procedures to ensure part and material conformance per specifications. The Quality Technician should be driven to seek out, disposition, and correct problems, and can work with minimum supervision

This is an innovative role that combines components of different job responsibilities. Tech I is responsible for holding and controlling quality inventory systemically and physically in the MRB or Quarantine areas..

You will be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

Auditing:

The Quality Tech I is responsible for performing and documenting Quality audits in the KMF or QVAS. The Quality Tech I will also inspect, evaluate, and report on the quality and effectiveness of production processes.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Read and comprehend production information and work instructions.

  • Responsible for verifying that part numbers and quantity are compliant.

  • Perform order audit entering information in the RF scanner, iPad, or Computer.

  • Follow audit instructions to perform a successful audit.

  • Carry out appropriate sampling plans

  • Assist in other areas of the business as needed.

  • Practice 6S and Safety

  • Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned.

  • Ensure the integrity of the quality data by paying attention to details.

  • Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks as needed to assist in overall goals.

Equipment Operation:

The Quality Tech I is responsible for moving product throughout the warehouse.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Drives reach truck to assigned location to pull product

  • Delivers product to designated area

  • Stacks and moves empty pallets and wire baskets to correct destination

  • Locates all received product

  • Ensures all carries receive the correct paperwork

  • Operates wrap machine to secure pallets prior to shipment

  • Responsible for overall organization and cleaning of area

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Experience operating a Reach Truck, Order Picker, Sit Down Forklift, and an Electric Pallet Jack

  • High School or GED diploma required

  • Must have good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Must possess basic math and basic computer skills.

  • Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time

Working Conditions:

Production

  • Manufacturing Plant & Distribution Environment

  • Stand for long periods of time while performing the audits.

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes
