*Description*
The Testing & Compliance Lead would: *Own the end to end test process for Markets+ across phases (WRAP, Energy Accounting, OMS, Settlements, and Markets+ go-live.). *Serve as the qTest owner/coordinator, ensuring: oTest cases are properly structured oEnsure testing standards, entry/exit criteria, and pass/fail expectations across workstreams. oEnsure consistency between vendor provided test cases and TEP testing requirements. oExecution evidence is captured consistently, ensuring test execution evidence resides in qTest, even when draft scripts originate in spreadsheets or other tools. oDocumentation meets audit and compliance expectations oEnsure test execution evidence resides in qTest, even when draft scripts originate in spreadsheets or other tools. *Coordinate UAT, integration testing, connectivity testing, and market trial tests across internal teams and vendors. *Act as the primary point of accountability for testing status, risks, defects, and readiness reporting. *Track and report testing status, risks, defects, and remediation plans to program leadership. *Support go live decisions by providing objective readiness assessments based on test results and evidence. *With the help of the Training and Readiness lead, ensure alignment between training artifacts vs. test artifacts *Coordinate testing activities across IT, business teams, PCI, and SPP. *Act as the escalation point for testing risks, defects, and testing concerns. *Help identify gaps or weaknesses in test coverage, controls, or documentation and drive mitigation. *Partner with Program Management to provide clear, executive level visibility into testing progress and risks. *Works closely with the Markets+ Training and Readiness lead and Markets+ leadership. Required Qualifications *Strong understanding of testing methodologies (UAT, system integration, connectivity, and parallel operations). *Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating testing using qTest (or similar enterprise test management tools). *Experience coordinating across internal teams and external vendors in a complex, multi phase program. *Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications *Prior experience supporting audit facing programs or regulatory/compliance driven initiatives. *Familiarity with energy/utility systems, market operations, or large enterprise system implementations. *Experience translating technical test results into clear, leadership level summaries. *Skills* Automation, Test automation, Sox, compliance, test lead *Top Skills Details* Automation,Test automation,Sox,compliance,test lead *Additional Skills & Qualifications* The company is Also changing a lot of the business processes that are happening because they are going into a new market Because some of them are sox compliant- we need someone to really manage and make sure that the testing is being tracked, people are testing, we are collecting evidence of the tests Need a solid process of the tests- how defects are managed, where documentation lives, what defects need from the vendor as well as document compliance. BA will be on the documentation piece for this, but making sure that we are all buttoned and tied ofr auditing and compliance. IF someone has used qtest before, this would be amazing. Most of it is organization and testing software background. The big thing is strong organizational skills and being able to track and keep other people on point for testing schedules and reporting up- so background in software testing and maintaining evidence that you have use for testing for compliance purposes. *Experience Level* Entry Level *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, AZ. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
