SPD Technician II - Sterilization Processing Department

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for ensuring all surgical supplies, instruments, scopes and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed and tracked in a safe, quality and timely manner throughout the hospital and supported offsite clinics and locations. After training, able to perform all CSR standard work. May be required to perform additional, related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High School Graduate, 1 year college preferred. CRCST required within 12 months in position and maintained annually

EXPERIENCE:

One year health care experience preferred but not required.
